“Fourth Position”
I took my first dance class at age 3. I knew at that moment what my future was going to be. Growing up in Los Angeles allowed me to receive wonderful dance training. I had many mentors as a dance student. After high school I started my professional dance career. I was lucky to travel and dance all across the world. As a teacher and choreographer I have had the privilege to work with incredible artists. During the time that I was dancing I met Keith Drossin. He was a Los Angles based dance photographer. I was lucky to be in front of his lens. That was the second time in my life that I knew where my life was going.. Because of Keith I saw a whole new world of dance possibilities. To capture dance with a camera opened my mind and soul to a new way of dance expression. Now as a dance photographer I work to capture the deepest part of a dancer’s experience. I show the beauty, the joy and the soul of the dancer.
